Sadly I have to report the death for Bob Giddings, a former Corporal who served in the Wiltshire Regiment: he died on 7 January 2024. Bob for many years was the Wiltshire Regiment Standard bearer for the Wiltshire Branch of the Regimental Association (be that Wiltshire Regiment, DERR or RGBW). He was a loyal and dedicated member of the Salisbury Branch; he and his wife Elsie regularly supported the Association functions. In addition to his regimental association Bob Gidding was the Chairman of the Salisbury Branch of the Royal British Legion.
