Shortly after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer, Former WO1 Jim Long of 1 DERR. died peacefully at his home on the 22 February. Further details will be published when the arrangements for his cremation have been finalised.

Very sad to hear about Jim we go back along time together, especially Belize and Berlin the memories are still very clear and our antics are still talked about on social occasions in the appropriate company. always a free thinking person with a sense of adventure and he will be sadly missed, a good friend always.
