Joe served with 1st Bn Gloucestershire Regt 28th/61s from January 1960 to February 1983
Joe joined as a Junior Leader in 1960 and left after 23 years service as a WO2.
Army Certificate of Education Class 1 & Trade Clerk Class 1. Admitted as a member of the Institute of supervisory Management 1981. His last position was office manager with the TA – he served with distinction in Cyprus, Aden,Swaziland, Berlin, West Germany, Northern Ireland and England. Discharged at end of service with Exemplary Conduct sheet. Medals gained GSM & Bar and LS&GC.
