Funeral details have now been updated, for Korean and Imjin veteran Leslie Alfred Ralph Allen, 1st Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, who died on the 19th of July 2023. The last commanding officer 1 Glosters, two county chairmen and a four-man standard party will support the family at the service, providing the Regimental drape, wreath and standards; the Rifles are supplying a bugler. All association veterans and serving Rifle personnel are invited to attend. The funeral will take place at Romsey Abbey, Church Lane Romsey SO51 8EP at 11 30am on Thursday 24th August.
