The death of Pete Milner

It is with great sadness for me to announce this morning (24th April 2019) in Cheltenham. Pete joined and served in 2PL, A Coy in approximately 1976, moved to Signals Pl, where he served as a signaller on C Coy’s Cyprus spell and then as a signaller in Ballykelly (1977-79) under Nick Bosquet in the Comcen. On leaving the Regiment, in his later years he went on to work for The British Antarctic Survey, where he was due to go back to last October, but sadly illness struck him down. Further details of Pete’s funeral will be posted as soon as they are known.

Remembrance Sunday Cenotaph Parade

As an Association we have registered our interest to participate again in this annual Cenotaph March Pass. Based on the attendance from last year we have bid for 30 attendees. Whilst this may seem a small number it is in line with previous years attendances. Those who have taken part on a frequent basis advise that would be attendees need to appreciate that there are long periods of standing around on cordoned areas. Those who wish to attend are to email their intention to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . This email address will come to the Chairman, until such time as we appoint a new Secretary.
