Through the Regimental grapevine we have heard that Major Rod Hicks MBE, former RSM and QM of DERR and QM of the Royal School of Music at Kneller Hall has passed away over.

His son Rodney has asked that anyone who has memories, thoughts or comments that he may use to collate as a Remembrance of his father to email them to him at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The funeral of Major (Retd.) Rodney George Hicks MBE, will be held at Kingsdown crematorium on Friday 17th February 2017 at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only please, Dad would hate money being spent unnecessarily.

A wake service will be held after the crematorium at Kempsford Village Hall. Buffet & beverages will be provided.

All very welcome to attend the crematorium and wake.
